Internship

Two days ago my lecturer visited the office where I have my internship.

My boss and him discussed quite a lot of stuff regarding the criteria of a fresh graduate should have. They talked about nowadays chemical engineers are too dependent on programme in designing as programme may lead us to the wrong direction. He also mentioned that students nowadays should focus on fundamentals instead of thinking that programme is superior. Meanwhile, we shouldn't too depend on Hysys.

But, in university, I feel that the university is quite focusing in the Hysys programme which can minimize the time spending on a certain design. I would agree that fundamentals of certain process such as liquid-liquid extraction is important. But, all the fundamentals in separation and chemical and phase equilibria aren’t taught that well in the university. Students weren’t understanding the concepts in the text and I believe the marks from these fundamentals modules are scaled up, especially the process dynamic and control.

So, are the university is in educational based or in an earning money based ? Are the government focus on the education in both public and private universities to improve the living standard in Malaysia? Are the students nowadays having high enthusiasm in learning ? The most concern part is , are the fresh graduates nowadays able to cope with life? Definitely not, if you just hold a BEng cert.

I know some of you guys more than a decade! Time flies. I really miss the moment we were together in the school. We talked crazily while teacher teaching, ponteng some of the chinese classes during form 5, we purposely don't go for assembly just to decorate our class and we had most of our tuition class together.

From these photos, I think I changed a lot. But, my face still as round as usual.

Graduation

It's summer, the season of graduation.

Many of my friends graduated. The number of students in Chem Eng for next year left less than 1/3. Especially , the course I took which is Chem Eng with Environmental Eng, I think there will be 4 of us in the class for that module, and it will be 20 credits next year. I would not like to predict too much about the atmosphere in class for next year. Gonna be TERRIBLE. Lecturer will be very close to me, meanwhile, I would not be able to skip the class.

I have another study life before I graduate. And, I'm not prepared for the working life in the future which MIGHT BE same as my intern life. SLEEP EAT WORK EAT WORK EAT SLEEP. Repeated every weekday, dull and mundane.

Anyway, good luck and have a bright future for those who graduated. I must enjoy and study hard for my final year. Maintain my results, waive from paying PTPTN loan and get ready for the non-return working life.

This is my first time trying roasted goose, trying a roasted goose from Hong Kong reaching by air. This is from my uncle's friend.

The box is really really HUGE and we thought that the portion is big.

But we found out that the box is really huge for such a small portion of roasted goose !! I found out that the fat is as thick as HALF an inch!! It is really disgusting to swallow the fat into your stomach !!

Plum sauce packets are came with the box. The difference between this plum sauce and the usual plum sauce we have in Malaysia is the viscosity is much thicker and more sour.

If you like something like roasted duck , definitely this is a nice dish.

Disneyland is the destination where every kid dream for. I am sure your memory during childhood was full of Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Tom & Jerry, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, etc. They were repeated and repeated in the TV. They brought you the happiness. You always laugh at how Tom catching the little and wise Jerry.

I am so yearning for a Disneyland tour. I don’t know when it will be. I want to go into Disneyland before I am too old.

Somebody quoted Ministry Of Food serving probably the best sweet course in Kuala Lumpur , so I went to try with my mum quite sometime ago.

This shop is located at Pavilion, at the corner of the building. They are selling Japanese style dessert, mostly ice-cream. So, we picked two of the recommended dishes.

Vanilla soft ice-cream coated with mocha (green tea) served with fried sweet potatoes~

Japanese dumplings in sweet red bean paste served with mocha ice-cream~

I like the fried sweet potatoes and the mocha ice-cream. The mocha ice-cream they served is quite special where the green tea aroma is quite strong. Overall both of the dessert are so-so only, I think they are overpriced and overrated.

2 days in Singapore

I just came back from Singapore yesterday. It’s neither a shopping trip nor site visit trip, just went there to visit relatives who really ages not seen. We took night train to Singapore by thinking of save some time for travelling. Anyway, KTM did a very bad job in providing service. Firstly, the train did not run smoothly on the track. When the train started to depart from each station, definitely, people will awake due to the sudden momentum caused by the force. Secondly, the toilet is too small and very dirty. Besides the toilet bowl is in mini size, the basin does not excluded. Once you press the tap, the water will overflow the basin as well as the toilet. Yucks :S ( I still have lots to complaint about!)

Just discussed with fren on the journey back to home from uni about Daidomon - Japanese BBQ Restaurant. It is located at Great Eastern Mall along Jln Ampang! We gave very good review to this restaurant and I would like to share with u guys :)

It's a buffet restaurant. You can order unlimited seafood (especially butter fish), unlimited sashimi and unlimited beef :D The price for weekend dinner is around RM60 to 70 per person during promotion period!

Dipping sause is provided along with some fusion food as well.

This year is a very dramatic year for me. I went to few countries in Europe and stayed in UK for few months. These might be others’ small matter in life, but these are part of my dream and there are still much more to be fulfilled in future. I got a very good chance to undergo a situation during end of this year where a friend in need is a friend indeed. A wrong start is ended up finally.

At least, this roller-coaster life let me think more. After these ups and downs, I know what I want in my life and in my future. So, have you get ready for your new year?

Somebody mentioned to me that I have stopped from blogging for sometimes. So, here is the new update from me.

I just came back from Kajang Balai Polis. This is my second time went to a police station. The first time I have been there is when my house was burgled. The story should be started from last Monday, 26th of October. I got an accident, not a serious one, but it is scaring. I stopped my car at the traffic light at Saujana Impian Golf Club. Then, a speeding Nissan Frontier came and bang my bumper from behind. Well, my car is definitely big. But, the momentum from that Nissan is huge until my car moved forward! I gave the signal to the stupid Indian driver to move to the housing area nearby to have a talk. I was a bit nervous when I saw there were two Indian guys in the car and I was alone. Moreover, that driver called his brother to come. I was like OMG there.

Alright, he said that he wanted to settle it. I got his number, IC, name, even his address. He asked me to tell him the amount he has to pay me after I went to check the price. So, on the next day, my dad called him. He said he needs 4 days to pay us. Okay, we waited 5 days and checked the bank account. He didn’t pay us. So, we called his number and he rejected our calls. Never mind, my dad used other numbers to call him. He rejected them as well. Well, that was fine too. My mother sms-ed him to pay us or else we will report to the police. Well well well, he got no reply as well.

SO, I went to report the accident today. I met with two sarjan in police station. Both of them tried to call him through their handphones. He rejected their calls AS WELL!!! Anyway, I have reported this accident! To the stupid con man, U better turn up at police station, or else you will get blacklisted or caught!!! Chances are given and you did not appreciate them. My family and I have been very tolerating with YOU.

This is from one of the policemen I met today. If you involve in an accident, please report it in 24 hours. If you want to settle it, please settle is within 24 hours as well.

That’s all I want to say right now. Bye.

The 4th week

Yayaya!!! I am in the 4th week of my 3rd year first semester. I still have TWO 4-week-of-lecture to go before the 3-week-Christmas holiday comes. No. I should say I still have at least 40 credits of coursework on my hand which is more than one-third of my whole year to finish before another LONG-SWEET-SUMMER BREAK.

I should celebrate for the 3 days lecture timetable. I should, but I didn’t. It should be nice, but it doesn’t seem that I am satisfied with it. NO!!!

Suppose that there will be NO lecture and NO lab session in the timetable on Thursday. Unfortunately, I have to go back to university on Thursday for the sake of attending a lab session for my R&D project. Okay. Since I have to go to uni on Thursday, I placed my CEL discussion on that day as well. Great! At least our group is able to hand in the draft by next week. I really wish my group mates have the motivation to do the draft as well as the experiment.

For my R&D project, I get a good topic dealing with nanotech. It’s sound as a not-very-lab-based project. In fact, it is. IT IS!! Okay. I just want to release my stress. 40 journals have to be finished by this week.

The end of week 1

Week 1 of my new semester is ended yesterday. In this new semester, I only have lecture on Monday to Wednesday and a scheduled lab session on Friday. That means my Thursday is off and Friday might be another free day if there is no lab! I am quite satisfied with the timetable as I have to drive to uni during this semester.

On this first week of semester, we have been told to choose the topic for our Research & Development project. Reading a 14 pages of pdf file has made me crazy. Topics given aren’t easy and I never heard most of them before. Luckily, we are given chances to find each project supervisor to discuss and find out more about the topics.

Besides that, there is another 100% coursework based module which is Chemical Eng. Lab. Arrangement of groups has been done and we have to get our lab partners together to meet our supervisor who is Dr. CHONG MF !! =( =( =(

I can feel that this semester is not going to be easy but BUSY! Anyway, yesterday night was ended up with a fool. 4 people who are in two countries managed to play the fool around. =D

Suddenly, I have an urge to write this out.

I have to call up years ago. In the mid of 2007, I was in McD near Masjid Jamek LRT station with my friend, a lady approached us. She did introduce herself before he started to continue her story. She said that she is a volunteer from Spastic Children’s Association of Selangor (SCAS), and would like us to donate money to help those children. The lady persuaded us to donate 10 ringgits each and a car sticker will be given as a receipt as a proof. As we mentioned that we are students and we don’t have much money to do so. So, she suggested us to share for a car sticker. Finally, each of us donated 5 ringgits.

Following on 2008 year summer break, there was a company recruit some part timer workers for event. So, I went to the interview with two friends. A middle aged guy called himself as the manager conducted interview with us and told us how his company working. I remembered that he said his company help some brands to do roadside advertisement. For instance, they will do some survey with the people walking around in the shopping mall and give out some samples. BUT then, the manager said that currently there are currently helping an association to as people to donate money and the association is – Spastic Children’s Association of Selangor. I followed the workers there for an one-day-training session which the ‘training’ is actually teaching us how to ask people to donate money by following a small group of two people. LOL. Anyway, the manager has told us that his company JUST started to help this association, I wondered how come the workers there are speaking in a very very fluent manner in persuading people to donate money. Moreover, the identity card given out by the so called SCAS to workers as a pass to collect the donation is too simple where they used pen to write out their names on the card. There is NO any formal letter or official printed documents. I think I was cheated. Thus, I quit after the day.

One year later, 2009, when I came back from UK. I accidentally heard a DJ in radio discussing about how to identify those fraud in the city. If they are given right to collect money, there will be a formal letter with them, not a written or anything else.

Today, I met one of the girls who taught me how to ask people to donate money a year ago at LRT station. At first when she saw me, she gave me a friendly smile. So, I thought she recognise me. Unfortunately, she doesn’t. But, she asks me for the SCAS donation!! Aha..she used the same script as last year to ask me for donation, and, of course, she showed me her identity card and also the so-called official pass for SCAS volunteer which is same as a year ago. After I heard her introduction, I straight away told her that if I am interested, I will donate to the association. And so , she left and found another target in the station.

It’s so shame to Malaysians to change people’s kindness to a Barmecide feast. Should the government boost the people’s conscience instead of keep changing the language used to teach science and maths in secondary schools ?

First trip after my last paper is heading to Cambridge, a top five world university! Cambridge is located 100km away from London and there are 31 colleges comprising the University of Cambridge. The famous colleges such as King’s College, Queens’ College, Trinity College and St. John College are located at the centre of Cambridge. This year, University of Cambridge is going to celebrate its 800 year-old-birthday!

Cambridge is famous for its river, River Cam. It is surrounded by many historical buildings (different colleges), but it is a bit disappointed that they do not allow visitors to enter some of the colleges. Besides that, they tend to earn tourists’ money by setting entrance fees for famous colleges. It is a bit ‘industrialized ‘ to be a tourist spot in UK.

Today, we are lucky to have a bright and sunny day to enjoy our day in Cambridge after raining for whole night. In addition, we get a chance to have a ride on a punt and touring the scenic River Cam. Anyway, University of Cambridge looks more attractive than University of Nottingham. Am I able to study here? It’s calm, beautiful and quiet place that soothe your mind =)

It’s happened two weeks ago but I am -SO- tempted to post this here. It isn’t a big matter, in fact, it's just a very funny story.

Two weeks ago, KX and I bought about 20 tubes of yogurt from Asda due to offers and of course we would like to stock up some food for coming exams period. Then, we tidied up our fridge to fit in our yogurt tubes and other vege. So, some of the tubes are at the end lot of the fridge blocked by potatoes and mushrooms, and, the others are placed near the fridge door.

Two days later, when I felt hungry and tried to get my yogurt tube which is placed behind the potatoes, I found out that one tube is gone. Then, I was so lucky that I can find the emptied tube in the trash bin. AGAIN !! Somebody ate it without permission. I don’t think I cannot remember I ate a new flavour of yogurt. So , I asked KX and the another girl who shares fridge with us, Ms B. KX didn’t eat it, and Ms B denied. I felt very angry this time because this incident happens again.

Actually, it’s obvious that Ms B ate it. She did steal our milk for few times, but we didn’t warn her. So, KX and I wrote a yogurt check list (only yogurt flavor is written down)and stick on the fridge door. Another two days later, she came to find me that she and another china flatmate saw the list and felt uncomfortable with it. She told me that the list like avoiding stealer, and she is the one who shares fridge with us, so it is obviously pointing at her that she stole our stuff. In addition, she said the yogurt might be eaten by someone from outside. (LOL, if you are a thief, will you steal something and eat it at the spot as well? NONSENCE! )

Hey hey hey, can a list with yogurt flavor show that she steals our stuff? We didn’t tell the other flatmates that something gone from our fridge before. Are you too sensitive with the list? How come none of my other flatmates asking me why there is a list on the fridge?

Obviously, she felt too sensitive because she is the one who ate it. This is called ‘做贼心虚’. LOL. Thank you for acting perfectly in front of me during our conversation. Please be SMART if you want to do it again.

Semester is ended yesterday by handing in plant design coursework. About 81 streams of Phthalic Anhydride Produciton Plant with 23 streams of material streams is finally done! Lecturer said group work ( mass and heat balance calculation ) which can be done in 3 hours, but we have spent one month do to the Hysys. In addition, individual work (design of equipment) ,which has been told to spend 2 weeks on it, has to be done in a week due to lack of time.

Environmental Field Course

Just finished my presentation of Masson Hill Super Quarry.This project contributes 55% credit of my Environmental Field Course project( with 2 presentation sessions).

Firstly, location of Masson Hill has to be located and features around have to be justified, especially the distance of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) area. If quarry has to be built on SSSI area, relocation of special plants has to be mitigated. Due to the high composition of limestone in the soil at Masson Hill, the quarry is operating by blasting limestone.

After that, estimation of the size of the quarry has to be done.Number of years taken for limestone operation has to be correctly calculated by finding out the cross-section of the soil. Voidage which contains of basalt and other composition of soil has to be obtained from Matlock city council library.

And finally, the diameter of the quarry which is 500m is found and has to be plotted in a map by using the correct scale. Depth of quarry is 150m from the surface of the land where limestone is supplied for 10 years of normal operation.

Besides that, water table which is 260m above sea level has to be considered as the quarry may be flooded due to high level of water table. So, wells are built in order to pump underground water and water pumped from Masson Hill will flow to existing drainage at Jughole Wood
and new drainage system has to be built from Jughole Wood to Hall Dale Quarry.

Quarry is built by using the glory hole mining quarry. Limestone product is transferred from Masson Hill to Hall Dale Quarry which is abandoned.

A little defination of GLORY HOLE MINING
•A glory hole is an open-cut or pit mine used to reach and mine an ore deposit.
•The ore is extracted from the bottom level via an adit.
•In glory-hole mining, a steep-sided, funnel-shaped surface excavation is connected to tunnels below it.
•Rocks blasted off the sides of the excavation fall into the tunnels, from which they are then removed.
•Mining downward, generally from the surface, although occasionally from an underground chamber, is called shaft sinking.

By using glory hole technique of mining, the visual impact is minimised, especially by viewing from Matlock town. In order to reduce noise impact, PVC deflectors are used along the shaft pipe. Conveyor belts and lorries are used to transfer limestone. Besides that, environmental impacts such as land stability, drainage, visual, road and traffic, airborne and water pollution impacts have to be solved and presented in presentation as well.

But, there are lot of technical problems that my group hasnt sort out such as electricity and water needed in the quarry !! ( This is asked in the questionaire part !!)

End of Easter Break

I have spent first week of break in Paris, second in Matlock, third and forth week in doing nothing in my flat ( I ONLY realised that I have left my belt in Paris hotel on my third week == ). Finally, one month of Easter break is going to end by today and I can start to count down for my final which is exactly one month from now then.

Just conclude that I have had 3 consecutive days of POTATOES meal during the end of Easter break and yesterday was the best which came with lamb stew ~~ I am not going to burn the lamb stew for the second try !!

Bye to easter break !! All the best from now onwards.

Just came back from Environmental Field Trip yesterday. Matlock and Cromford are beautiful with hills and highlands. Sheeps and cows are everywhere. During those few days, I was staying in a castle which is a hotel as well and I had 3 course meals every night !!!!!! muahaha =D

4 days 3 nights in Paris

Paris ?!! Most of the people would think Paris is a perfect place for honeymoon. Actually, Paris is not as romantic as I think. It's a sandy and dusty city. French aren't polite. ( UK people are nicer and more approchable!!). Heavy traffic flow is normal. Traffic rule isn't always obeyed. Beggars are here and there in the city.

Paris, a city full of many nice architectural buildings. Stunning buildings and clean Seine river are the vital tourist spots of Paris. Paris is a huge city. From Eiffel Tower to Arc de Triomphe, 30mins walking distance is a must. From Arc de Triomphe to Musee Du Louvre, you need another 1 hour. Language barrier is another matter we met there. Even in Musee De Louvre, a must for every tourist, people working at information counter doesn't speak English well. So, translator is a must in Paris. We ordered our meal by showing the menu, we use simple english to order McD, simple english to ask for direction and so on.

Eating in Paris is absolutely expensive. One set of McD costs you 8 euro. 8 x 5 = 40 ringgit Malaysia. But I think 20 euro for a French cuisine is still acceptable compared to a 8 euro McD set. LOL.

Yea. If you are yearning for branded fashion, Paris is a must go country. Haha. I saw lots of high-ended brands in Paris but there are only two small shops selling groceries. So, I wonder where is Carrefour in Paris?!!

Musee Du Louvre is famous for all sort of art works eg. paintings, sculptures and art objects, especially Mona Lisa. I saw many two storey height paintings in the museum. But, how big do you think for the Mona Lisa ? 50inch x 80inch ? Two storey height ? One storey height ? 2metres x 4 metres ? Haha..Mona Lisa painting is absolutely SMALL. It just likes one A3 paper!! I felt very disppointed when I saw it. It's too small compared to other paintings there. But people still like to squeeze into the crowd and take picture. LOL.

At 27 years old, an engineer probably has a respectable, stable job that gives him a high income to own a car, invest, have a comfortable life, and get married and buy a house too. Law graduates are still working as a lowly apprentice in law firm, most management graduates have just failed on their first business plan, the arts graduate is still looking for a job, and the medical school graduate is still living in a hospital.

Advantage 2: Unmatchable industriousness
An engineer boyfriend will dedicate an unimaginable amount of his time and effort to understand you. Engineers strain really really hard to understand their work. You can believe that they will try really really hard to
understand women too, just like how they understand their work, once they believe that you are the one. So even if they don't understand youinitially, they will keep on trying. Even if they still do not understand, they will figure out the correct method to keep you happy (e.g. buydiamond ring = 1 week's worth of happiness.) An engineer boyfriend will never betray your trust. Let me first tell you what is wrong with the rest of the others - the lawyers will lie about everything, management graduates will cheat your money, the arts graduate will flirt, and you probably just look like another cadaver to the medical school graduate. Your engineer boyfriend is either too busy to have an affair, and even if he does, he is too dumb to lie to you about that.

my FIRST ever flapjacks

Have you tried flapjacks before ? Do you like to eat flapjacks ?

I extremely like to eat flapjack, especially it is coated with chocolate or yogurt !!! This is the first plain flapjack I made. =P

This is the recipe of making flapjacks, but I have modified the recipe by adding muesli and substituing golden syrup by honey. It still tastes sweet.

Ingredients
4 oz (110 g) soft brown sugar

4 oz (110 g) butter or margarine

1 rounded dessertspoon golden syrup

6 oz (175 g) whole oats (or porridge oats)

¾ teaspoon ground ginger

Pre-heat the oven to gas mark 2, 300°F (150°C).
You will also need a 7- or 8-inch (18 or 20 cm) square baking tin at least 1½ inches (4 cm) deep, lightly greased.

First place the sugar, fat and golden syrup together in a saucepan and heat it gently until the fat has melted, giving it a stir now and then. Take the saucepan off the heat and stir in the porridge oats and ginger, mixing thoroughly. Now pour the mixture into the prepared tin and press it out evenly, using a tablespoon or the back of your hand. Bake in the centre of the oven for 40-45 minutes. Then allow the mixture to cool in the tin for 10 minutes before cutting it into oblong bars. Leave in the tin until quite cold before removing them. Store in a tin.

No worries. I am not going to be more patriotic to my motherland. But, I miss msia food and of course those places I often visit and visited before.

In the first video, it introduced at the Dataran Merdeka. This is the place I went for marathon during my secondary school. Don't be surprise I attended this kind of sport. Actually, I just went for the cert. LOL. Nearby Dataran Merdeka, there is Masjid Jamek LRT station where I have to take another LRT train to go back home from TARC. And, during last year summer break, I was taking LRT again from KLCC after work. It reminds me lots of memories.

2nd video is about Cameron Highlands. My parents and relatives went there last year without me during Christmas. I miss the pasar there with lots of roses and strawberries.

Following 3rd video is about Genting Highlands. OH...I can't figure out how many times I have been there. I visit there once a year due the short distance (one hour journey) from my home.Hopefully I dont need to go there this year and there is nothing special about the casino there.

1、用手插入米缸的米里面插来插去
2、地下有阶砖时，特意隔一格一格来走（不可走过界，要完全在格内）
3、用镜面反射阳光，照来照去

5、吃完瑞士糖之后，将糖纸包回原本四四方方的形状出来
6、超级市场踩着购物车行走
7、贴张写着“我是白痴”的纸条在同学的背后

10、丢别人门口的拖鞋下楼
11、下楼梯时坐在扶手上面滑下来
12、在电梯上往相反方向走
13、用萤光笔油指甲
14、下雨打伞，总是故意地转那把伞
15、家里没人时，对着镜子学跳舞／演戏／唱歌
16、在街上见到狗就扮猫叫，见到猫就扮狗吠
17、下雨的时候,拿起伞故意往雨大的地方走去听雨啪啪的声音感觉很爽
18、玩家电包装里的那张有很多泡泡的塑料膜,把泡泡一个一个按破

今天做了件傻事，不过最后发现原来生命还有很多很多的事要完成，也不会因这而停止。

Yahooooooooooooo.......finally there was snowing in Nottingham !! The moment when the snowing started, I was skype-ing with my parents. I have experienced a heavy snowing yesterday and today I have to suffer from the melting of snow which leads to the slippery of roads. Anyway, throwing snowballs is FUN !

24~25th Jan 09 -- Manchester trip

Two days after my last paper, I went to Manchester with my friends. Manchester is another urban city in UK and of course it is well-known because of the famous football team -- Manchester United ( even a five-year-old little kid in UK will tell you what is Manchester United ). Frankly, I am not a football fan so I definitely enjoyed much in food ( DIM SUM and Thai curry) and visiting this city (erm..shopping?!! ) rather than the football stadium. Thanks for the yummy egg tart too !! =P

Manchester has a huge chinatown nearby Oxford St. And , this should be the entrance or I should say something represents Chinatown.

Oh..this is one of the shopping center !! I found Espirit and Mango in Manchester =D (those are my fav. shops and Nottingham doesn't hv) .

First of all, happy Chinese New Year to everyone ! I was welcomed by a CNY card from Mindy yesterday when I came back from Manchester. Thanks again, Mindy ~

Actually I am not feeling good today. Bad things happen in a row in this morning till noon.

Environmental Field Course is a 100% coursework module which needs me to spend 5 days during Easter break to complete 3 coursework by visiting site, doing presentation, answering questions as in public forum and I need to pay 220 pounds for it. What a module ?!! and my Easter break is gone !

Coming was my lab slots. Okay, there are only 2 labs in this semester and I was so LUCKY that I have lab on 5th of Feb which I should be in Amsterdam. There is only 5% to have a lab on that day !! I don’t know what to do next. Pay more for the transport ?!

Average marks of BOB in my class is 63%. OMG !! I think I will get less than the average.

Then, I got very low marks in Engineering Materials coursework which it shouldn’t be. I lost 7 marks in total due to my carelessness. My results for this semester is going to be very very bad. Worst than ever.

Following by Plant Design lecturer is lousy until nobody wants to pay attention in class. He is an Indian man who speaks English with heavy Indian slang. Walao..my plant design is gone TT

What’s a day ?!! I am totally in the doldrums. Bad luck stops please. 7 modules in 2nd semester are going to make me crazy. I can feel the stress on my first day already. Totally frustrated.

It has been quite a long time I did not update here since I have started my papers.

So now exams have finished. There are 4 papers in total, but actually I did not do well in the first two papers. I was totally in the doldrums on last week. Anyway, that’s the end of my second year first semester and said bye-bye to this semester.

Something I want to complaint is ---- there is no HOLIDAY at all after exams. On next week, school reopens. Next week ?!! Ya, next week is the starting of Chinese New Year. People at the other end of earth will be celebrating CNY, but I gotta start my semester 2. Something making it to worst is my class start from 9am to 4.30pm. TT

Anyway, wish chinese at every corner on this earth Happy Chinese New Year !! Enjoy eh ~~

Weird ?!!

Haha...I saw something weird today. In this morning I saw a white rubbish bag hang on a tree which is about 4 floors height. Then I took pictures for that RUBBISH BAG.

It hangs there for hours and the wind doesn't blow it drop.

I have no idea why it is there. Is it caused by wind or bird ?!

WAH... dont know why the exchange rate increases as my exams get nearer...

Totally stunned at the exchange rate shown in my gadget on my laptop this afternoon. It is increasing from 4.996 ( the lowest I saw) to 5.405 now.

I havent got the chance to exchange money at 5.0 or even 5.2. I am still using 6.4 and 5.6 exchange rate money.

Heart is in pain. Pain pain pain. TT

Last day of 2008

2008 is an amazing year which I have fled from Malaysia to UK and experienced two different cultures within a year. I have never been thought that I have a chance to further my studies outside my motherland.

On the early of 2008, there is nothing much happened. I just remember that I have been went to UNMC annual dinner after that then 2nd semester exams started. During the whole summer break, I went to Redang Island and worked in BHPetrol. Oh..it was my first job which has EPF (it’s not really high paid job but exceptable.)

Two months later, a decision has been made in the last minute to join the student exchange programme in UK. And now I am in UK experiencing the coldness during winter. TT

Yeah. Right now, I have to be more independent than previous days. I have to spend my spare time and money wisely, discipline myself in studies (this is super important), and most important which is making the right choice in every single decision. During the days in Malaysia, parents will always give advice in my decision but nowadays, I have to think and just them myself. So there MIGHT be a little growth on me :P

Our future path is on our hands. On this coming 2009, it is the time to let us gain more and grow more !

First of all I would like to wish everyone

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!

This is the first time having Christmas alone and this drives my missing family feeling to another higher level TT.

Let's me update my recent activities.
I have been coming back from a 8-day-trip 4 days ago and just had the time to update my blog. During this holiday trip, we have spent 3 days in Ireland. Overall, in Ireland, we visited Dublin city,Guinness storehouse and joined a day tour to Wicklow and Glendalough.

After that, we reached Edinburgh, Scotland on the 3rd day night. Then we joined another 3-day-trip to Highlands, Isle of Skye and Loch Ness. And finally, we went to Glasgow (a newly industrialized city in Scotland).
